Nick Dowling, Potential Motors COO

Nick has a background in mechanical engineering, building and prototyping cars, and has been in love with vehicles as long as he can remember. Nick brings a deep understanding of vehicle mechanics as well as a skill for maintaining smooth operations in an ever-changing startup environment. He also happens to be our resident bartender, always ready to provide a top-notch cocktail recommendation.
Isaac was the electrical engineering lead on his university’s formula SAE team and was heavily influenced the design of its electric race car. Isaac has automotive work experience in Germany working at Bosch Engineering GmbH in their electric mobility development division. In addition to his work experience, Isaac was also involved in developing racing vehicles for hobbyist racers, as well as building e-bikes, and other electrified mobility as a hobby. Isaac brings technical understanding and experience, as well as relentless motivation.

Sam has a background in mechatronics engineering and is a passionate environmentalist, with a strong drive to work on the most complex problems. He has led the vision for Potential Motors since the beginning and brings a unique ability to approach massive problems and crazy ideas with a level head. Outside of work, you can find him hiking the back trails of New Brunswick.

Chris Ramsey

Chris is a seasoned entrepreneur most notably building NCompass Labs (acquired by Microsoft, 2001) and co-founding and building Radian6 (acquired by Salesforce.com, 2011). Prior to Potential Motors, Ramsey served as Chief Customer Officer for Salesforce.com's Marketing Cloud division.

Marcel's background includes co-founding two start-ups, leading a NASDAQ/TSX IPO and six acquisitions. Most recently, he was SVP & GM of Marketing Cloud at Salesforce.com, prior to which he was CEO of Radian6, where he led the $326M acquisition by Salesforce.com — the CVCA Deal of the Year in 2011.

Chris is a serial entrepreneur, and primary co-founder of Q1 Labs (acquired by IBM in 2011) and Radian6 (acquired by Salesforce.com in 2011). He has held various executive and technical roles in each company, such as CTO and Chief Architect, as well heading the research departments that were in charge of leading each company's technical vision for the future.

Bill Lamey

Bill is a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in managing development and R&D. Bill served as VP of Product Development for Teledyne CARIS before joining Potential Motors in 2020. As an avid off-roader himself, Bill brings plenty of experience on the trails to our technology development.
